FUQUAY-VARINA – Tracy Walters Tharrington, age 47, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021.  Sher was born in Nash County, NC on October 25, 1973.  She was also preceded in death by her father, William Thomas Walters.

Tracy is survived by her husband, Scott Tharrington of Fuquay-Varina; her step-son, Ryan Tharrington of Fuquay-Varina; her mother, Frances Bueno Leggett and her husband, Buddy, of Hobgood; her brother, Matt Leggett and his wife, Christian, of Holly Springs; her sister, Mary Leggett and her husband, Blake Hinton of Hobgood; her nieces, Katie Leggett, Brianna Leggett, Laney Leggett; and her nephew, Scheyer Leggett.

A Celebration of Tracy’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hobgood United Methodist Church, 208 W. 5th Street, Hobgood, NC 27843 with Pastor Ron Elkins officiating.  A visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the Sanctuary.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is requesting the need for social distancing and wearing of masks due to health concerns faced around our nation at this time.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in Tracy’s memory to Hobgood United Methodist Church, Hobgood, NC 27843.
